XRP Profit Share Declines To 58.5%, Signals Market Pressure
November 19, 2025Ripple (XRP) has experienced downward pressure amid a broader market decline, falling over 11% in the past week and briefly reaching $2.10 before stabilizing near $2.20. Data indicates that approximately half of the XRP supply is currently held at a loss, potentially exposing late buyers to significant risk.
According to Glassnode data, only 58.5% of XRP is currently profitable, the lowest level since November 2024 when the price was around $0.53. Roughly 41.5% of the supply, equivalent to 26.5 billion tokens, is currently underwater.
This situation highlights a top-heavy market structure, with substantial losses held by recent buyers, leaving the market vulnerable to corrections.
The asset’s price has remained largely unaffected by a series of spot XRP ETF launches in November, including Franklin Templeton’s EZRP and offerings from Bitwise, 21Shares, and CoinShares, slated for Nasdaq Global Market listing.
Canary Capital’s XRPC, the first spot XRP ETF, has attracted approximately $270 million in cumulative flows, with $25.41 million in inflows on Monday, according to SoSoValue. Despite this interest, XRP remains down roughly 40% from its July high of $3.65.
Broader public interest in cryptocurrency has fallen to its lowest point since June, according to Google search trends analyzed by Alphractal. Searches related to exchanges, altcoins, and market trends have decreased sharply, reflecting declining enthusiasm as prices decline.
Alphractal notes that renewed interest typically arises with increased volatility and upward price movements. Until then, attention remains muted, despite opportunities for long-term investors during these quieter periods.
Recent news highlights include the successful launch of Canary’s XRP ETF (XRPC) and the ongoing race among firms vying to introduce XRP ETFs to the market.
