Airdrop Scandal Hits $30M Altcoin Project

A significant airdrop crisis has emerged within the aPriori (APR) ecosystem. Bubblemaps, an analytics platform, has discovered that a substantial portion of the airdrop distribution for the project, which has received $30 million in investment, has been consolidated by a single entity. The project’s team has yet to respond to the findings, fueling speculation.

The APR airdrop, initiated on BNB Chain on October 13, aimed to distribute 12% of the total supply to users ahead of the Monad mainnet. Bubblemaps’s chain analysis revealed that a significant percentage of the distribution was controlled by an entity managing thousands of addresses.

Approximately 14,000 linked addresses are believed to have collected over 60% of the airdrop. These wallets received fresh funds from Binance, received 0.001 BNB within similar timeframes, and subsequently transferred the APR tokens to new addresses forming a secondary layer.

Bubblemaps reports that this entity is actively funding new wallets and claiming airdrops. The concentration of tokens within a single entity has raised serious questions within the community.

The analytics platform stated it has attempted to contact the aPriori team, but has not received a response. The community is interpreting the address clustering as a potential airdrop exploitation or a “Sybil attack”.

Bubblemaps has published the incident as a case on the Intel Desk platform and is requesting support via BMT voting to increase visibility.

The developments are critical for both the APR token pricing and the project’s credibility. The community eagerly awaits an official statement from the project.
