Binance Announces Hack and Security

Binance recently warned its users of security issues and hacking attacks. For a while, Binance has reported that it is trying to capture users’ information via fake SMS sent to its users and that attention should be paid.

Scammers targeting Binance users are sending SMS’s to Bianance users and other crypto holders saying that there is a withdrawal request from an unknown IP address, which they are advised to cancel. Be careful if you receive SMS like this.

Incoming SMS Message contents are briefly as follows; It contains a link in the SMS content that directs a withdrawal cancellation request that users are prompted to click on. The link in the SMS leads to the scammers’ tailor-made phishing website to steal your information and e-wallet information. Even if you click on this link by mistake, close the fake web page without filling out the information.

Binance CEO’ for such situations, “Don’t click! Write the address,” he says. Do not click on a shortcut, bookmark or link anywhere else while entering the Binance page. He said, “Always log in to the platform by typing the Binance address URL”.

With this method, scammers had previously stolen user information on many platforms, stealing users’ cryptos.
